My computer must need fiber.

'Cause it's a little blocked. It's having more trouble loading visuals on the Web; it'll get stuck and give me the sense it'd be stuck at the "2 items remaining" or "9 items remaining" message until I just click STOP on my browser. Poor old computer, getting slow and arthritic in its old age.

Here's (among) what's good:

* I had a giggle-fit at the radio last night playing the very high energy Reel Big Fish version of a-ha's "Take On Me." (Later Edit: Here's the video for it! BASEketball footage is included, which might please docbrite...)

* I conversed telephonically after that with slipjig and rafaela.

* I'll get to see s00j tonight! 7 p.m., In Other Words Books at 8 NE Killingsworth, in-store concert. And for the first time in a year, I get to hear that huge voice come out of her not-huge body...

* And later this weekend I'll let myself stop waiting and go to see Cloverfield.

I hope this finds all of you well.
