  • Mood:

That was lucky.

Saturday night? Apparently I was more tired than I thought.

This morning I couldn't find my glasses (I hadn't needed them Sunday, so I hadn't looked then). I searched in the obvious places, then searched somewhere less obvious. And found that they had fallen behind the bed.

So when I'd nodded off Saturday, with the light still on, my glasses fell off and just happened to fall there, instead of landing on the mattress to risk getting crushed by me.

I honestly cannot remember ever doing that before. Unless I did it as a kid and either Mom or Dad carefully and lovingly removed my glasses from my peaceful face as I was peacefully snoring.
