I finally found a copy of Campbell Black's original novelization of Raiders. Got it from Half Price Books for the Indytastic price of a buck twenny-five. Nice. Better still, it's a second printing paperback from July 1981, complete with cheesy yellow edging on the pages. (What's the deal with that, by the way? It seems like every paperback from the 70s and 80s - and before? - has that crappy yellow around the outside. Were they hoping we'd think it was gold foil, like on them fancy hardback books? Was it a design issue? Inquiring minds want to know!)
Gilded paperbacks? (A question about books)
