A few layers of nice geeky news

I'm a fan of Stephen King. I'm fond of Richard Matheson. I've heard good things about Joe Hill, the young author who smartly got himself established before letting it out that Stephen King's his father.

All three are involved in this bit of geek news: Hill and King have written a novella called Throttle, a Richard Matheson tribute (sounding a bit like Duel) that will be published next year in a Matheson-tributing collection called He Is Legend. There's already a producer interested in making a film version of Throttle, but the sheer existence of this story and this collaboration...that's a nice little cause of geek joy.
