If laughter's good for the soul, is it also good for MS?

Me: "Well, she's light; she could be carried."

Him: "Heh. I'll tell her you said that."

(Context! My apartment building's owned by a family, who bought it at the urging of their daughter J., who renovates buildings and homes. I talked with her dad this morning, and he told me something I didn't know, which is that J.'s living with multiple sclerosis. He said that she sometimes has numbness in her feet because of it. I said what you read.)
