I’ve been a tease today, and I know not why.

It hasn’t been mean teasing, mind you, and I know the difference. But today on LJ, I sent a message with the first three lines being all Beatles lyrics – to the one person I know who really doesn’t like the Beatles. (And she’s still talking to me. Heh. Better not push my luck.) Later, when I was packing up to leave the office, the woman sitting near me lamented that everyone else was clearing out. “That’s okay,” I said, “the cold germs floating around will keep you company.” And as I stood in the aisle on the bus home, a guy in front of me said, “Could you move back” – no real question in how he phrased it. I backed up, as did he, and when we were next to each other again I whispered, “You didn’t say ‘please.’”
