Formerly missing young woman Hannah Emily Upp is in the hospital.

Staten Island Ferry workers pulled her out of the water, and she was taken to a hospital in the borough.

Upp had disappeared soon before the start of a year teaching Spanish at Thurgood Marshall Middle School in Harlem. Friends of hers, including Holly Gaiman, have been searching for her.

I am grateful she was found in time and that she can get help.
