Keith, Terri, you're in my thoughts.

I'm hurting for the both of you. I want and hope for things to work out.

(It's not my place to say what's wrong, beyond this: they're two friends of mine who are going through something tough.)

Dammit, the words are weak. I just have to hope the thoughts behind them are strong. For what it's worth, I know they're heartfelt.
