He writes well – he’s freelanced for over a decade writing books and comics for Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Resident Evil, Marvel Comics, Farscape, and more – and as an editor, he enables good writers to do their own good writing. His significant other terri_osborne wrote a story for his collection Doctor Who: Short Trips: The Quality of Leadership that won an award, so now she can be called Award-Winning Author Terri Osborne. I’ve seen how proud he is of her writing, along with his pride at his writing.
He loves animals, real (cats Marcus and Aoki) and animated (Skipper! Rico! Kowalski! Private!). Animals seem to tolerate Keith, too, which is usually the best you can hope for with cats and penguins, so we’ll call that a win for him. (Now I hope dogs love him when they meet him, too.) He’s spending part of his birthday at the Bronx Zoo, and if animals didn’t like him, he’d be in trouble…but maybe they’d like him enough to join him, marching on from the zoo to take over New York like a wave of furry justice. Either way, the headlines would be hysterical.
He’s a nice guy who can kick your ass (thanks to karate), which is much preferable to jackasses who can kick your ass. He also kicks drums’, um, asses as a member of the band The Boogie Knights. Multi-talented, is what this guy is. And multi-good. He’s good in a bunch of ways.
Happy birthday to kradical, the Muppet who walks like a man. ;-)
