The economy hits someone else I really like

One of the DJs I like and have communicated with, Tara Dublin, was just let go from her midday radio gig at 94.7 Alternative Portland. As in "told RIGHT AFTER HER SHIFT that corporate higher-ups had ordered staff reductions."

Crap. She's good people and the kind of smart-assed personality I like, plus she's clearly in love with music and radio. (If she's not in love with radio right now, I'd completely understand that. I'm mad, and I didn't just lose my freakin' job 'cause of the economy.) Listening to Tara middays was one of my pleasures during my time out of work.

Sorry, Tara. I'd hug you if I saw you.
