Ghostbusters, bitches!

OK. Sorry for that burst of impoliteness. Still, I’m smiling; I picked up my CD order from Varese Sarabande today, including the limited edition score, finally released 22 years after that film came out. That was worth the drive (in sunlight this time) to UPS’s Swan Island depot. I’d forgotten how pretty the theme for Sigourney Weaver’s character is…

Afterwards, I picked up jambalaya and collard greens from Popeye’s as a treat. Before all this, however, I had to get home from work, and…wow. Did cars just fall out of the sky into downtown Portland or what? Northbound Terwilliger was backed up almost to Campus Drive, one of the roads into OHSU, when I was walking home. Barbur was packed; so were the Ross Island and Marquam bridges. I’m glad I avoided traffic on the way to Swan Island.

Meanwhile…hee, hee, hee. Ghostbusters!
