Back to that "treating myself" thing

In a few minutes I'll leave the computer and start traversing East Portland by foot and bus, to reach Trek in the Park (the Classic Star Trek episode "Amok Time" performed by local actors in the park, complete with music, fight choreography and special effects).

I won't be taking pictures, but I should have no problem writing word pictures.

Show starts at 5 p.m. in Woodlawn Park, two bus lines away. I'm giving myself time to arrive.

And I'll be armed with my water bottle, 'cause it's hot like Vulcan outside.
