firstly: if you've been tagged, you must write your answers in your own LJ and replace any question that you dislike with a new, original question.
how would you describe your siblings (if you have any)?
My one sibling, my older brother, is the Efficiency Expert. He and his wife wanted two kids, and lo! they had twin boys. "Well, we wanted two kids, this is one way of doing it," he said when he confirmed that news back in 2001. And his wit is dry to the point of parched. He's a good guy.
have you ever lied to a teacher?
Not to my knowledge. Maybe I've even been too truthful to teachers. (Have teachers ever lied to me? I don't want to think about that.)
what kind of book would you describe as a good read?
The sort of book that inspires someone to say "For those of you who like this sort of thing, this is the sort of thing you'll really like." Yeah, I'm feeling like giving circular answers right now.
what's your occupation?
Data-entry monkey. (Heh. I first wrote "date-entry." I must be horny.)
what stereotype are you?
The Crazy Recluse. A stereotype I'm trying to break, or would be trying if I weren't tired. (Long week. Again.)
what's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Breathing.
what are you listening to right now?
A breeze and someone's A/C unit a building away doing those snaps, crackles and pops.
what food could you eat every day for weeks and not get sick of?
Rice.
what websites do you always visit when you go online?
LJ, Twitter, Gmail. Must keep in touch!
what are you going to do next year?
Ask me next year. (I hope I'm not panicking then!)
what was the cutest thing you've seen today?
Today was low on cute. That happens sometimes. Um, I didn't see this, but today my friends rafaela and slipjig got to cuddle with reptiles. I could picture that being cute.
does the weather affect your mood?
It can, though I try to resist that and not let the weather control me. This goes beyond not complaining about the weather, which I really try not to do; but the heat this week got so extreme for Portland that it really did seem mind-frying; I had trouble thinking. So have a lot of us.
what is your zodiac sign?
Scorpio, and apparently I really fit it. I must use my Scorpio magnetism for good... ;-) (Wanting more of that date-entry, Chris?)
do you want to learn another language?
I'd kind of like to learn Italian.
five things you can't live without.
Friends (collective), family (collective), music, the ability to walk, and the ability to write.
if you could meet anyone now, who would you meet?
Director Terry Gilliam. Twenty years later The Adventures of Baron Munchausen is still one of my favorite films of my life, and Twelve Monkeys seemed to have jacked into dreams I've had, and his work has always really spoken to me. Plus I have a anecdote about his late friend and associate Michael Kamen that he doesn't know, but would appreciate. (No, I won't say it here, but two people reading this know it.)
what's something you'd like to say to someone right now?
I'm trying.
what are you looking forward to?
Getting over myself and my hangups.
say something to the person who tagged you.
You're...intriguing.
And now I do as I promised and tag Fuck All. (I know there's a man out there named Justin Case. That makes it easy to believe there's someone out there named Fuck All. Maybe Fukal? Sounds like a character in a Battlestar Galactica parody.)
